The Heat index is calculated by using the actual temperature and relative humidity level to determine the human-perceived equivalent temperature (how hot it feels). Heat index is broken down into the following four levels:
- NORMAL: Under 95
- MODERATE: 95 – 99
- HIGH: 100 – 104
- EXTREME: Above 104
